Jay Yeager has represented businesses and individuals in a wide variety of lawsuits and arbitrations, including:

He has tried numerous bench and jury trials in state and federal courts, including United States Bankruptcy Court, and has prosecuted and defended appeals at all levels of both systems. He also holds a commercial pilot certificate with an instrument rating.
Representative Cases
- Fulton Industries, Inc., et al. v. Daimler AG, et al., Indiana State Court, 2008-09. Lead counsel for automaker defending and prosecuting claims arising out of large scale long-term supply contract.
- Health care provider v. outsourcer and consultant, AAA Arbitration 2005-07. Lead counsel for large health care provider prosecuting and defending eight-figure breach-of-contract claims against multinational IT outsourcer and care standardization consultant in fast-tracked arbitration; three-week hearing.
- Internet defamation litigation, S.D. Ind., ongoing. Lead counsel for American company in federal court actions against defendants in Spain and the United Kingdom arising from defendants’ defamation of American firm via the Internet.
- Allison Engine Corp. and General Motors Corporation v. Northrop Corp., 807 N.E.2d 70 (Ind. Ct. App. 2004), transfer denied. Co-counsel for aerospace subcontractor against prime contractor on stealth fighter construction contract dispute; six-week trial.
- In re: Lawrence W. Inlow Accident Litigation, 2001 WL 1781927 (S.D. Ind., December 13. 2001). Lead counsel for corporate owner and operator of aircraft in litigation arising from death of highly compensated general counsel.
- Transit Management of Southeast Louisiana v. Group Insurance Administrator, 226 F.3d 376 (5th Cir. 2000). Lead counsel for stop-loss carrier in state and federal court litigation arising from collapse of self-funded health insurance plan for employees of New Orleans public schools and New Orleans transit system.
- Young v. GAC, et al., 738 N.E.2d 1079 (Ind. Ct. App., 2000), transfer granted, 770 N.E.2d 298 (Ind. 2002). Lead counsel for buyer of privately-held finance company, defending shareholder claims arising out of acquisition.
- Corll v. Edward D. Jones & Co., 646 N.E.2d 721 (Ind. Ct. App. 1995), see also 631 N.E.2d 914; 643 N.E.2d 402. Lead counsel for certified class of securities purchasers against broker; eight-week trial.
- In re Merchants Grain, Inc. Lead counsel for independent trustee of large agriculture company in Chapter 11 case, asserting various claims, including claims against debtors’ collaborators in pre-petition financial misrepresentations to regulators and lenders. See, e.g., 59 F.3d 630 (7th Cir. 1995).
- Autocephalous Greek Orthodox Church v. Goldberg & Feldman Fine Arts, Inc., 917 F.2d 278 (7th Circ. 1990). Co-counsel for Indiana art dealer defending claims brought by government and Church of Cyprus for recovery of valuable fifth century Byzantine mosaics.
