The Renewable Energy Industry 2010: What’s Next? - Webinar

Jan 20, 2010 11:30 AM - 1:30 PM

All times in EST

Baker & Daniels and B&D Consulting invite you to join us for the ninth webinar in our 2009-10 series focusing on clean energy and climate change and developed by the American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE) and the American Bar Association.

The renewable energy industry survived 2009 intact with much promise but a clouded future. The economic stimulus package provided enormous support for the renewable energy community, but project development, investment and finance are still lagging. Congress did not pass a comprehensive energy and environmental legislative package but continues to work toward wide-ranging national legislation in 2010 with significant implications for the industry. Main Street has met Wall Street, but new business, technology and innovation, and small business have yet to flourish. Now, it’s 2010 — a bright new year with a brand new budget. What is the outlook for financing, development, infrastructure and the law for 2010?

Baker & Daniels and B&D Consulting will provide brief federal and state updates prior to the webinar (updates start promptly at 11:40 a.m. and the webinar begins at noon). A light lunch is provided and networking and discussion follow the webinar.

This event is presented free of charge, however, you must register in advance to receive the login instructions for attending remotely. Login instructions will be e-mailed to you prior to the webinar. Registration for onsite attendance is encouraged to allow us to plan for lunch.
