Global Reach

Baker & Daniels serves clients around the world through our China office, law firm networks and U.S.-based international practice. In China, the accession to WTO and permanent NTR trade status has accelerated the already torrid pace of economic growth and business development. Through our lawyers in the Beijing office, Baker & Daniels is able to provide American, Chinese and international clients with comprehensive service, including legal advice and the identification of business partners, manufacturing sources, key personnel and plant site locations. Baker & Daniels is one of less than 40 U.S. law firms licensed to practice in China.

B&D Consulting is our national advisory and advocacy group, serving clients in federal government relations, health and life sciences, and communications and public affairs. With a practice group of experienced professionals based in Washington, D.C., Baker & Daniels offers clients an impressive range of strategic services that go beyond the typical law firm.

In 2006, Baker & Daniels merged the people and practices of its three affiliated companies – B&D Sagamore, Aventor and B&D Quorum – into one group that assures an integrated, comprehensive approach to your challenges. We've been serving the federal legislative, regulatory and business development needs of corporations, nonprofit organizations and local governments since 1985 when B&D Sagamore was founded. Our professionals develop effective strategies for clients with complex or specialized issues or needs, as well as provide federal funding options on local government, small business, energy/environment and sports issues.

In 2007, B&D Consulting expanded its national services to the property tax industry with the addition of the B&D Equity Property Tax Group in Chicago. The group, which brought many years of experience in national property tax matters, aligned with the firm's strategic growth initiative and provided entry into the Chicago market.
